MANILA, Philippines – WWE executive Triple H, real-life Paul Levesque, underwent surgery last week following a heart event, the company announced on social media Thursday.
The promotion said Levesque has undergone surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut and is expected to make a full recovery.
“Paul Levesque, aka Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event,” WWE announced. The episode was caused by a genetic heart problem and Paul is expected to make a full recovery. “

Levesque, 52, is WWE’s Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy Development and COO of the promotion.
The 14-time world champion is also the founder and executive producer of NXT and has been credited for the rapid growth of the brand.
Levesque was heavily involved in WWE’s backstage affairs and last appeared in a match in January when he fought against Randy Orton.
