North Indian at a reasonable rate?!

Crave for North Indian food will never fail no matter how exotic delicacies are laid before us. The charcoal smell that emanates from tandoori chicken, the thick layer of ghee that floats over mutton rogan josh and the flavours of Indian spices when the steaming biryani is plated; o what lovely dishes North India offers us!

1947- that is the name of our first North Indian restaurant. 
Named after the year India received its independence, 1947 is a patriotic themed vegetarian restaurant. Portraits of freedom fighters adorn the walls and you would also find a Gandhi charkha. 
The huge glass window on one side gives a beautiful view of South Bangalore city.
The food is the best part of the restaurant. For all those who are hard-core health-conscious North Indians, you would love to visit 1947 over and over again. Minimum oil yet the flavours of North Indian food remains intact.

A variety of paneer starters adorn the menu, along with pindi chole, vegetable lahori, jafrani kofta, dal methi lasooni along with a choice of flavoured rice and Indian breads.
From Mondays to Fridays, they serve an enjoyable lunch buffet.

Set in Jayanagar Shopping complex, 4th Block, Jayanagar, Banjara is a North Indian restaurant that serves Mughlai and Chinese delicacies too.
Serving buffet on all days of the week, the place is frequented by office crowds on all week days as an economic lunch buffet with a good number of dishes on offer.
A sophisticated decorated restaurant, it also offers an a la carte menu.

Clove is one North Indian restaurant situated in the ground floor of Kandi Tree Hotel, Jayanagar, 4th Block.
The atmosphere looks quite inviting and fresh with the use of soothing pastel shades and illuminating lights.
