The Real Deal

I'm not the biggest fan of April Fool's Day. This probably stems from the fact that my default setting is stuck on "trust others until they prove otherwise." It is what it is.

So, let's just stick with something real here.

This is the last remaining parallel, besides the ever elusive 1-of-1, for my 2017 Topps Five Star Vogelbach rainbow.

I have been searching for this card for two years without any luck so I pounced when it showed up on Ebay the other day.

If you're unfamiliar with the Five Star brand, it's a high end product that comes with a price tag around $130 per box with only two cards per box. Imagine the cost of opening opening boxes looking for a certain player! Yikes! Thank goodness for the secondary market.

In all, I have tracked down my six different Five Star parallel cards for about fifty bucks total. I guess it helps that The VOGELMONSTER is not a household name . . . yet.
